MARK YOUR CALENDAR - 2024 Security Officer Awards Recognition (SOAR)  

The ASIS Greater Orlando Chapter will host the Annual SOAR  Awards ceremony on May 30, 2024! This event has proven itself to be the most significant event of the year for Security Officers in the Central Florida region. The event has recognized hundreds of the “best of the best” among Central Florida security industry over the last 23 years with past attendees including the sheriffs of four counties, chiefs from area departments, directors of security, hotel and resort management and other business leaders.

Security Leaders, Agencies and Organizations from throughout the Greater Orlando area are eligible to nominate security professionals for a wide range of accomplishments, including community service, lifesaving/heroic actions and outstanding service in the field by using the attached form. Each winner will be recognized at the SOAR Awards luncheon and receive a framed certificate and award for their outstanding service.  

Sponsorships for this event are being accepted; levels, cost and inclusions can be found on our StarChapter home page or on the Greater Orlando Chapter website.  Individual tickets can be purchased below. To ensure enough seating is available for all,  no walk-ins or day of the event sales please.

There Certified Protection Professional (CPP)® credential provides demonstrable proof of knowledge and management skills in eight key domains of security. Those who earn the CPP are ASIS board certified in security management.

The Professional Certified Investigator (PCI)® credential provides demonstrable proof of an individual's knowledge and experience in case management, evidence collection, and preparation of reports and testimony to substantiate findings. Those who earn the PCI are ASIS board-certified in investigations.

The Physical Security Professional (PSP)® credential pro-vides demonstrable knowledge and experience in threat assessment and risk analysis; integrated physical security systems; and the appropriate identification, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of security measures.
